The first article will focus on the buildings in the open-air museum. I should be ashamed, because I don't know much about Latvian culture, despite being Latvian.
All buildings were made from wood and had reed roofs. Latvians originally were farmers so most of the people lived in messuages except the people who lived in the cities.
At the shore there were usually fishermen settlements, and their houses were different. Usually they were larger and without surrounding territory.
